HB3693 requires governmental entities (including municipalities) to publish consumption and payment information for various utility services used by the entity annually.

The City of Gainesville purchases natural gas from Atmos Energy. In the Calendar Year 2019, the City purchased a total of 36,742 cubic feet (CCF) of natural gas.

The City purchases electricity from Reliant Energy and PenTex Electric Cooperative. In the Calendar Year 2019, the City purchased a total of 8,217,668 kilowatt hours (kwh) from Reliant Energy and 274,154 kilowatt hours (kwh) from PenTex Electric Cooperative.

The City purchases water from the City of Gainesville. In Calendar Year 2019, the City purchased a total of 14,511,540 gallons of water.

The total cost of natural gas, electricity, and water purchased by the City in the Calendar Year 2019 is $973,086.63.
