The City of Gainesville Solid Waste Transfer Station will be closed Saturday’s during the Winter Season, starting on Saturday, January 25, 2014 through April 19, 2014.
The Transfer Station will continue to be open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Transfer Station is located at 601 North I-35. For questions or information please contact General Services, Solid Waste Division at (940) 668-4551.
Customers may haul residential refuse directly to TASWA Landfill, located east of Whitesboro at 25090 State Highway 56. TASWA landfill facility hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. For questions or information please contact TASWA Landfill at (903) 564-1290.
