The City of Gainesville Solid Waste Transfer Station will be closed Saturday’s during the Winter Season, starting on January 17, 2015 through April 18, 2015. The Transfer Station will continue to be open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and is located at 601 North I-35. Customers may haul residential refuse directly to TASWA Landfill, located east of Whitesboro at 25090 State Highway 56. TASWA landfill facility hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. For questions or information please contact TASWA Landfill at (903) 564-1290.
