The City of Gainesville has contracted with Jagoe-Public Company, via the public bid process, for the O’Neal Street Improvements Project. Work on this project includes trench repair in an effort to prevent yards in that area washing out during heavy rains. Construction started on Monday 6/3/2019 and will take approximately 120 days to complete. (weather conditions permitting) The road will start from N Grand Avenue to approximately 600’ east of Wheeler Creek Drive.
