The Gainesville Parks and Recreation Department is still accepting arts and crafts vendors for the 14th Annual Spring Fling celebration in Leonard Park. The final day for registration is this Friday, April 19, 2013. This fun filled party celebrates the birthday of the largest play scape in all of North Texas. Held the first Saturday in May, this year’s celebration will take place on May 4, 2013, from 10 am to 5 pm. Various activities will include arts and crafts booths, festival food, children’s activities, live entertainment, The Frankie Schmitz Express Train, The Frank Buck Zoo, bounce houses and human sized hamster balls.
