The homeowner is responsible for the pipes within the house, as well as the water service line from the house to the water meter box. If you see water coming out of the ground near your water meter box please call (940) 668-4540. We will inspect this at no charge to you. For after hours emergencies, contact the Gainesville Police Department at (940) 668-7777 and a crew will be dispatched to investigate the situation and take the appropriate action.
